"Listen ...and Believe"
There’s an old saying that says: Don’t believe everything you’re told. It’s wise to question things that you hear, even when it concerns your faith, but even this saying can be taken too far. Just look at the people of Judah who wanted to flee to Egypt after Babylon had wiped them out. Though they knew that God had warned them well in advance that Babylon would conquer them if they refused to follow God, they still questioned Him. They would listen but they would not believe. In what ways today do we hear what God has done for us and yet we don’t believe.
Lenten Worship Services will begin on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22nd with a combined Dinner Worship. Dinner at 6:00 with worship at 7:30 p.m. RSVP to the church office for dinner reservations.
The Lenten Worship Series will continue Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Feb. 29th-March 28th exploring The Trials of Jesus.
Like a courtroom drama, a series of witnesses come forward to give testimony about their experiences with the accused-Jesus Christ. Through their accounts we come to know the truth, that Jesus came to take our place in the defendant’s chair. Services include dramatic monologues, moving hymns, prayers and children’s messages that bear evidence to the fact that Jesus truly is the Son of God.

Lenten Reflection Hour
The sanctuary is open to the community during Lent Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. for reflection and prayer. Come to reflect on the meaning of Lent and to offer prayers for yourself, your family or your church family.
