Care Giving in the Home

 

If you are caring either part or fulltime for a loved one, the coming series is for you. This American Red Cross Course will be offered as single classes at the church during the year. You do not have to be a member to attend.  Watch for more details & sign-up information.

Eriko Izumida, piano
Renowned cellist, Misha Quint has won accolades from international competitions, festivals, and has captivated audiences around the world. He teaches at Mannes School of Music in New York and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Handel's Messiah will be performed by Western Reserve Academy Choir, Valley Lutheran Church Choir and Holiday Festival Orchestra. Call the Concert Series at 440.539.6376 to reserve your ticket(s).

Piano Recital - Sarkis Baltaian
Pianist Sarkis Baltaian has performed in the United States and Europe to critical acclaim.  He has been praised by critics for his “beautiful tone and ability to project even the most delicate pianissimos” and compared to George Gershwin and Oscar Levant for his performance of Gershwin’s Concerto in F.

 Chamber Music Extravaganza - Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A minor "In Memory of a Great Artist"
 Award-winning violinists Hristo Popov and cellist Michael Gelfand - Professor at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University will pair with Emanuela Friscioni - faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Music in this performance of one of Tchaikovsky's masterworks.

Family Life Seminar

 Led  by Dr. David Ludwig, author of the "From Me to We Series". Sept. 25th at the Chagrin Falls Armory. Dr. Ludwig will also be our guest preacher for worship services on Sun. Sept. 26th. Click here to register.

Discovery 401-"Connecting to Mission"
Sept. 14th 6:30-8:30 p.m. 
The final run to “home plate” in the Disciple Discovery Process. Learn how to witness your faith to others and spread the word of salvation.

New Grief Support Group

Renewing Hope ....for Happiness is a non-denominational support group for those who have lost a loved one. We're here to be good listeners, share each other's burdens and demonstrate Christ's love. Meet at the church monthly on the 3rd Sunday at 4:00 pm.

Discovery 101


Discover what it means to be a Christian.What it means to be a Lutheran. How can I grow deeper in faith? What does membership involve? Sat. Oct. 23rd, 9am-12pm. Childcare available! Register in the church office.
